This project was a truly global effort for an impressive roster of stories from around the world. Working for our New-York based clients, we sourced local crews in London, Tokyo, Stockholm, Lisbon and Derry, with additional footage supplied by Blind Football Uganda.
We produced six films: there were five case study edits to announce the winners, supported by one global edit that encompassed the whole Tech4Good Awards project, each complimented by a graphics package to make the films feel branded as a set.
Every award winner was a charitable sporting project that had a specific use of technology that improves access to sport, fitness and well-being, and helps people live healthier lives.
BRAND LAUNCH + MOTION GRAPHICS TOOLKIT
BEYOND SPORT
Beyond Sport rolled out a new brand designed by Red Dot Studio. We were brought on board to bring the identity to life in motion.
Through kinetic typography and rotoscoped sports photography we created a system for the brand to burst with energy. Bold copywriting shines through with a fresh and modern graphic language.
We delivered a brand launch film across various formats and resolutions, along with animated idents and interview captions supplied as MOGRTs so that the in-house team could continue the style in an efficient and flexible workflow.
THE SPORT TOGETHER FUND
SPORTS INDUSTRY AWARDS FUNDRAISER
For the 2024 annual Sports Industry Awards, global charity Beyond Sport asked us to create a fundraising film to be screened at Evolution London.
The edit needed to tell the story of the two chosen projects for this year’s fundraiser: Goals Haiti and Yoga and Sport With Refugees (YSR) in Greece.
Working with a mixed bag of footage – some shot by the charities themselves, some stock footage, some news broadcast clips, we were able to convey the urgency of the crises and the need for immediate action.
We designed a collage style design that was derived from the brand colour palette and fonts, which allows us to create a mood that was impactful, sporty and authentic.
The film also features clips from Zoom interviews with brilliant changemakers on the ground working for these two charities.
