WILD RUMPUS
Just So is an annual, intimate, weekend-long festival – an imaginative outdoor family festival in the UK. With a love of stories and childhood escapades at its heart, Just So Festival enables families to step out of their day to day lives and into a wonderland of world class literature, arts, theatre, dance, music, comedy and creative pursuits together.
We captured acts and audiences, curious creatures, hidden stages, roaming performers and boutique camping, all deep in the wondrous Cheshire woodlands. The edit packed the 3 days into one 3 minute montage, from the front gate opening to the late night discos. In an action-packed montage, we’re never short of excitement, from fire juggling to paint parties, with fantastic costumes and and puppetry.
The child-centred, laid-back vibe was a real pleasure to document. The end result? It’s amazing what you can do with 3 days, 2 crew, 1 camera, a tent, a torch and a big umbrella!
