Merchant and Found specialise in vintage furniture and lighting mainly from the 20th Century, with a nod to the softer side of industrially produced products. Everything they sell has a story to tell, a heritage and a provenance.

We were asked to capture artist and maker stories from across the UK to create content for a one-off event during London Craft Week.

Merchant and Found is all about great design and elevating the maker. We set off around the UK with a small crew, visiting the artists in their spaces. The idea, to immerse ourselves in their world and capture the creativity as it happened.

We wanted to let the artists and makers tell their own stories. With limited time, we came armed with a series of playful questions to ground the narrative and better show off their personality.

We captured both an interview and b-roll in a single day. Both landscape and vertical videos were created. We wanted to deliver a range of formats for Merchant and Founds social media channels.

The result, a social media toolkit of films with bags of personality that reached hundreds of thousands of interior design enthusiasts.
