PLACES CALLED HOME
IKEA & THE NATIONAL LOTTERY
In collaboration with creative agency Leap, we shot and edited this film for IKEA & The National Lottery Community Fund.
The Community Fund supported over 300 brilliant projects across the four nations of the UK in 2021. However much of it had gone undocumented and there were stories waiting to be told. Our solution was to bring together projects from across the country to create a collective piece that would display the variety and creativity embedded in communities.
Using IKEA products and photos from the 300 stories, we were able to create a set design that split the difference between a gallery and a home. The volunteers came together to share stories and build a map collaboratively. It was one of the most genuine and hopeful sets we’ve ever filmed on, with a real supportive family feel throughout the day.
Lovely people, amazing projects.
“From beginning to end Reuben & CO were wonderful to work with - highly professional, friendly and supportive and helped us to deliver an outstanding film that everyone is super happy with.”
